My preference and is more readily available to me the then OEM filters. Alternative recommendations for synthetic oil are AMSOIL and Royal Purple. I began running synthetic at 75,000 kms / 46,600 miles.Hand wash the car w/ a bucket, wash mit, and some car wash soap. With the soap, I don't think brands matter too much, but I like Kit soap. Use warm water and mix it properly.
